-----Original Message----- From: moon-net-bounces@list-serv.davidv.net [mailto:moon-net-bounces@list-serv.davidv.net] On Behalf Of N1BUG Sent: Friday, April 08, 2005 9:32 PM To: moon-net@list-serv.davidv.net Subject: [Moon-net] CY9SS 2005 (Attention Europe) Hello EME Friends, In an effort to keep this on topic I will tell you that CY9SS will be active on 2 meters, inclucing EME (plus all HF bands and 6 meters) June 7 to July 7. We are not ready to make skeds or announce specific plans yet... please QRX for that. We are still in need of some equipment and we may be making a request for loans soon. My apologies for the rest which is off topic here.... We do need some help from our European friends at this time. We will run a QRO transatlantic beacon on 2 meters when not working EME. The beacon will be "breakable". If anyone in Europe hears it, please call us on the beacon frequency! We need help in choosing a frequency. What is a good choice? Anyone who can help us with this please reply to me direct so we do not clutter up Moon-Net with this. Also anyone who is interested in listening for our transatlantic beacon please let me know! Or if you can help us spread the word to anyone who might be interested... please do. 73, Paul N1BUG for the CY9SS 2005 team http://www.cy9ss.com _______________________________________________ Moon-Net posting and subscription instructions are at http://www.nlsa.com/nets/moon-net-help.html
