This long time has been prepared for support of GHz bands activity by Dresdener VHF group (Dresdener UKW-Runde ) in the cooperation with UKW referat of Sachsen.

Terms: each third Sunday in the month,  08 - 11Z (the same as OK VHF Activity contest).

Participants: all licensed stations, any QTH

Call: CQ DUR

Bands: all amateur radio bands above 1 GHz

Operation mode: CW, SSB, FM, AM. QSO via active repeaters is not valid

Contest code: RST (RS) + QSO serial number + WW locator

Points: 1 point per km on 23cm, 13cm & 3cm,

2 points per km on 9cm &  6cm,

3 points per km on 24GHz,

4 points per km on 47GHz,

5 points per km on all bands above 47 GHz

Evaluation: - monthly for each band and once a year (sum of all points of each participant). Winner will be awarded by cup.

Logs: send by email in EDI format for each band separately, or regular paper log by post mail. All additional informatio about your station, QTH, coments, experience and pictures is welcome.

Terms for results publication: 8 days after contestu, it mean untill second Monday.

Note: 19.10.2008, 16.11.2008 & 21.12.2008 contests will not evaluated, the official contest will start on January 2009.

All support SSB QSOs such as on 144.395 & 432.200 MHz are welcome.

QSOs from this DUR Contest you can use as well as for participation in OK VHF Activity Contest, Sachsen Bergcontest and for new, since December 2008 launched GMA (German Mountain Award).

Due to that we selected the same timing.
