DX opening in Prague 14.-18.September 2003
OK1TEH 70 cm DX Report from JO70FD
View to the west at 16.th. September eve from OK1TEH hamshack - weak inversion line is visible a bit higher
13.9 Saturday - all beacons signals still in normal strengh (DB0KI, OK0EP, DB0RG, OE3XMB, DL0UB, HG1BUA, ...)
14.9 Sunday - condx are slowly opening into west and north east direction. One QSO with SP2MKO 51QSB, JO93, new #
15:9 Monday - DB0KI + DL0UB 20 dB stronger, PA and DL stations in JO50 made QSO with YL3AG + SM1MUT on 70cm, nil in Prague
16.9 Tuesday - at morning sked with Theo, PA1TK, 57-55 qrb 725km, on afternoon still weak sigs from west, but at 20:38utc at once PA0PLY with brutal signal strengh 59+30dB, more qso to PA, Jenda OK2BFH from JN99FN (1350m) made the same PA as well as on 23cm (around 1000km). At midnight I am listen to DL6NAA, how he made EI5FK. He is unfortunately here only for few minutes with sigs 529 (QRB 1620km!), but he doesn't copy me. No evening activity in G on 70 cm. On 2m OK stations have more qso s G7RAU.
17.9 Wednesday - morning condx to PA are still open (wkd 3 PA), OK2BFH made DX EU record QSO on 6 a 3cm with G3XDY. On afternoon, when I came home condx still better, QSO with DK9TF JO31 59, after 14utc condx are going down, on evening qso with Rene DL6NAA, which made SK7MW and SM7ECM on 6 and 3cm.
18.9 Thursday - sigs of 70 cm beacons are in JO70FD as usual
