Subject: [Iaru_c5] IARU-R1 Contests for September and October


Hello,

Just to inform you that the Contest Working Group will take a decision about
the Multi Operator Categories on 15th of the month previous to the contest.
This due to the unpredictable COVID pandemic at this moment.

You find hereby the conclusion of the last meeting from the contest working
group, held on 8th July :

The C5 Contest Working Group after discussing it, it came to the following
decision:

- the COVID-19 spread is unpredictable, then the C5CWG is going to inform
the participants to the next IARU R1 VHF Contest (September 5th-6th) within
August 15th if maintain the Multi Operator categories or suspend them due to
the social distancing's restrictions.

- the COVID-19 spread is unpredictable, then the C5CWG is going to inform
the participants to the next IARU R1 UHF & Up Contest (October 3rd-4th)
within September 15th if maintain the Multi Operator categories or suspend
them due to the social distancing's restrictions.



So please be aware and check your mail about those decisions, who will also
be published on the IARU-R1 website.

In any case please promote the participation to those contests in the Single
Operator class and let us beat the virus!
