Letter to IV3KKW and in copy to OK1VAO, sent on 21.2.2020:

Dear Allessandro,

As the first operator of the contest station OK2A I'd like to file
an official complain against the results of the
IARU Region 1 UHF/MW Contest 2020 in the category
MO/1.3 GHz. We believe that not all relevant info was taken
into account and/or the evaluation algorithm didn't identify all
errors.

There are following unidentified errors in the log of the station DL0GTH:

QSO #7 DG8NCO, 80 points - the QSO is not in the DG8NCO's log
The evidence see the national contest results in DL
http://ukw-funksport.darc.de/ukw/result/2019/2019-10/result/ubn/UBN-DL0GTH-1.2_GHz.html

QSO #137 F6MHQ, 634 points - the callsign is wrong, the correct one is F6HMQ
The evidence see the national contest results in DL
http://ukw-funksport.darc.de/ukw/result/2019/2019-10/result/ubn/UBN-DL0GTH-1.2_GHz.html
Besides the callsign F6MHQ is not even licensed.

QSO #180 OK2BSD,  397 points - the callsign is wrong, the correct one is OK2BDS
The evidence see the national contest results in OK
http://vkvzavody.crk.cz/index.php?page=qso_pair_error&id_round=27&qso=26604

These errors result in deduction of additional 1111 points from the score of DL0GTH.
The corrected score would be then 69927 - 1111 = 68816 points.

This significantly impacts the placing as with this score DL0GTH would only take
the 2nd place while the station OK2A with 69027 points would take 1st place
in the category.

We believe that it may be a good practice to double check the unique callsigns
in the station logs after the routine evaluation processing, especially when
the differences in score at the top places are so little.
