There is a new 2m-SDR-IF-Transceiver and we are just in the final engineering process - and are looking for some last ideas we have not thought about yet. So if you have any ideas or contribution or whatever of it, you send me an email - tnx. This tranceiver is not for use in european 2m-Contests as the RF-specifications are like the IC-202 or the FT-290, its useful for SHF - so 23cm upwards. If you like you can watch a video at youtube (just search for DF-202 and/or DK2FD, there is only one video in english but a few more will come next weeks and months). This is the 2nd Generation and we are working on the third (and we hope last hi) Generation. There is still a lot to do in software and a little bit on hardware. As its a SDR (with DSP, I-Q-Modulation etc.) its possible to modify some parts of the Transceiver using Software. Now we are looking for ideas - maybe we have not thought about all details. And of course its not possible to get all ideas working - you cannot insert a 15"-TFT to a small portable equipment. If you want to receive some more information, just send me an E-Mail (I will write an english information flyer now). 73 Dirk, DK2FD and DF0MU (contest from 144 MHz to 76 GHz, and Lightwave)
