Hi John,

The latest US Naval Academy satellite was launched to the ISS on December 6. It is expected to deploy 
from the ISS late in December.

The SIMPL satellite carries the QikCom-1 payload which according to WB4APR's website operates APRS on 
144.390, 144.800 & 145.825 MHz all 5 kHz Deviation FM. If you blow up the pictures of QikCom-1 under 
construction on his site you'll see there is also a transceiver module labelled "144.500" and another 
unit with a sticker labelled "backdoor" covering the frequency
