The contact was via Aircraft Enhancement on aircraft travelling from Adelaide to Melbourne, crossing the path between us at about midpoint. There were a number of challenges and we found we needed to pay close attention to our pointing in elevation as well as azimuth. Several smaller domestic aircraft produce no signals at all, but two larger international flights (A330 and B747) flying at higher altitudes finally provided the enhancement we needed.
