No, we didn't rest on the seventh day but things are getting more difficult. (Almost) all stations have been worked and it takes much time before a new init can be added. But we did some nice ones and OE, HS and LY are now in the log which makes a total of 49 DXCC. Not bad, a half DXCC within just one week! The amount of QSO's is now 284. That means that we broke the World Record EME 144 MHz maximum amount of QSO?s during a DX-pedition. It feels good. We now broke our own record from 2009 (282) when we (Rene PE1L and the author Eltje PA3CEE) set the standard with 5Z4EME from Kenya. We are some more days QRV. The moon is getting higher and higher. We can't elevate above 65 degrees (and the moon gets to 80). The USA-window is very short and the moonrise in Europe is about the same time when we should elevate maximal (which isn't possible as explained before?.) Timeslots 2M for Saturday: 12:00 UTC ? 15:00 UTC and 17:30 UTC ? 21:00 UTC Timeslots 2M for Sunday: 14:00 UTC ? 15:00 UTC and 18:00 UTC ? 22:00 UTC It?s possible that we are QRV Monday evening, but that not for sure now. So be there!!! After Monday we finally van fully concentrate us on the good life here in the knowledge that we have broken the World Record. Team 3B8EME is planning a lot of snorkelling, swimming, Ayurvedic massage (lovely!), barbecuing, socialising, steak eating and rum drinking after Monday in order to enjoy every second Mauritius can offer after so much sweat in the hot shack. But be prepared, we just could pop up on 50 MHz by surprise??? 73 3B8EME PA3CEE Eltje, PE1L Rene and PE9DX Johan A NEW WORLD RECORD !!!!!!
