------------ Původní zpráva ------------ Od: Arno Bollen Komu: Kopie: Předmět: KPN CDMA450 Datum: 19.8.2010 20:11:23 ---------------------------------------- Hello 432MHz EME-ers, Now I can confirm that the rumour is true .... KPN, the largest Dutch telecom operator will deploy a CDMA450 network in the Netherlands!! See: http://www.telecompaper.nl/nl/article.aspx?cid=750386 (in Dutch) The application will be M2M or machine to machine, not mobile phone. So "smart" meters (for your electricity company), soft drink machines, and parking meters can give their data via this network. At this moment, more than 50 basestations are build ready and the cell can be up to 50 kilometers! I think the high Nozema towers like Roermond, Lopik, Markelo, Smilde and Ittervoort (!!) will be used for the network but also the new DVB-T towers. Until now, I wasn't able to find official data for the exact locations. CDMA450 is causing a lot of QRM at OK1DFC, OK1TEH (http://www.qsl.net/ok1teh/eme_log432.htm) and I1NDP. Again another threat for 70cm EME :-( 73 Arno - PE1RDP - Veldhoven - JO21Qk ------------------------------------------------------ OK1TEH note: check better link: http://www.ok1teh.nagano.cz/eme_log432.htm
