OK Winter QRP Contest 2020 will be held on Feb.2. Since 2011 the Winter VHF Contest is managed by ČAV. Contest rules of the Czech Winter VHF/UHF QRP Contest Valid since January
2011
This Contest will be held each year on Sunday of
the first complete weekend in February on 144 and 432MHz bands. It is an
Open International Contest and all licenced amateur radio operators can
take participation and be evaluated in the results list.
Operational bands: - 432 MHz 09.00-11.00 UTC - 144 MHz 11.00-13.00 UTC Modes: CW, SSB and FM by the valid Licence rules with RF power limited to 10W. Involved operators are obliged keep the IARU Region I. Contest rules for different frequency subbands. Other rules: - all equipment used for contest can be powered only by chemical battery or by local solar power plant
- remote controlled RX and/or remote
station(s) are not allowed and only one signal on the band used (except
connection to chat).
- station should be fixed on one QTH.
- used antenna can not be erected earlier,
than on Friday before contest on Sunday
- only tropo connections (incl. planes
reflections and MS sporadic reflections) are valid for this QRP Contest.
- only one contest QSO per band is valid if the complete contest code (Report, QSO number and Locator) were exchanged. Points: one point per km. Points shall be calculated as nondecimal value. Even QSOs with stations, who doesn't take contest membership are valid, but complete contest code must be exchanged. Evaluation: both per band and total list. First three stations in the list will get the award. Your Contest log please send for evaluation in electronic format EDI (REG1TEST) only not later, than 10.day after the Contest. The Contest QSO is invalid if any mistake in reveived code has confirmed and/or if the time of QSO logged by both stations is different more, that 10 min. (by UTC). Contest participant will be not evaluated if infringe of licence or contest rules were confirmed. It could be for example: - intentional untrue data in the contest log
