With great sadness I just happened to learn that Joel F6FHP passed away yesterday evening. 
No further information is known at the moment. 
 

This is yet another bad news for the EME community with another great OP becoming a SK.
 

To my regret we have never met personally but over some 35 years we still contacted one 
another every now and then, be it via moon or in earlier years only via tropo and meteor 
scatter. 
 

Repose en paix, mon cher ami!
