Hello all, After 20 hours consecutive travelling by car, ferry, car, ferry and again car this morning 0100Z Frank DH7FB and me returned from our recent EME DXpedition to the Isle of Man (DXCC GD). We are very happy with the results having worked 200 QSOs, yet another +10 % from last year's activity from GJ Jersey, with the same equipment on our side. This is even more than expected because our location in GD was not at all perfect for EME work, let alone for work at moonrise: We were surrounded by high trees with some branches less than 50 cm away from antenna at particular QTFs and elevations. Only at high elevations > 40° we had a clear shot at the moon. Moreover 30% of the moon pass at moonset were blocked through our own house. I will put a detailed report on the df2zc.de website with logs, story and pictures by Easter. The log should be there much earlier, already by this Sunday. QSLs will available after Easter. We prefer direct QSLs, our address is o.k. at qrz.com: www.qrz.com/db/df2zc www.qrz.com/db/dh7fb Please enclose SAE and 1 $ or 1 IRC for return postage within Europe, 2 $ or 1 IRC for overseas. US stations: Instead of an envelope which generally is too small as we use a different size for QSLs an address sticker would come in handy. Personally, I'm happy having worked the "Atletico Team" as last QSO before we left from here (PJ4X), then from GD and 15 minutes after we arrived back home this morning as PJ2/PE1L, always new DXCC. vy Bernd DF2ZC, Frank DH7FB vy 73 Bernd DF2ZC (JO30RN) www.df2zc.de
