Hello folks, The PI9A group (ex pa6c) will be QRV in the March 2006 contest from JO33FB (as usual). Operational bands will be 144 MHz, all up to 47 GHz. We check several times the bands but as always, you will find us most off the time on the following frequencies; +/- 144.290 pse ask sked for 70, 23 & up +/- 432.190 pse ask sked 23 & up +/- 1296.190 pse sked for 13 (2320.190), 9, 6, 3, 1,2 & 0.6 cm. We will try to follow the KST micro wave chat, DX cluster and the WWC net. Search for PI9A or PA3CEG. Hello! A new year, a new callsign: DR5A will be QRV in the upcoming march contest from JO30EM @ 620m ASL. As the weather forecasts predicts more snow until the weekend, our exact setup will be decided on site. We hope to have: 2m (around 144.182MHz): 4x9el vert. stacked + 750w (first time new DB6NT TR144 transverter+FT1000 in use) 70cm (around 432.182MHz): 8x11el vert. stacked + 750w 23cm: 1.2m dish + 180w (first time 23cm transverter at mast top + TS850 in use) 13cm: 1.2m dish + 40w 3cm: 70cm dish + 10w Again, it is likely that we use smaller antennas on 2m (2x9el) and 70cm (2x21el) and perhaps omit 3cm at all depending on the weather (and snow height) conditions, like we did last year.
