Many thanks to all those we worked in the ARRL EME contest, and apologies to those we missed! The contest was a wonderful learning experience for us, and great fun as well. We operated under the contest's "Neighborhood Multi-Op" rule, making 144 MHz QSOs at the K1JT station and 432, 1296, and 2304 MHz QSOs at the station of K2UYH. We used both CW and JT65, without assistance. Our QSO and multiplier totals were: Band CW JT65 Total Mults ------------------------------ 144 26 149 175 67 432 28 1 29 22 1296 74 10 84 35 2304 18 0 18 15 ------------------------------ Total: 146 160 306 139 Claimed score: 306*100*139 = 4,253,400 Station setups: Band Power Antenna (MHz) (W) -------------------------------------------- 144 1200 4 x 14 dual-polarization yagis 432 1000 28 ft dish, rotatable linear pol 1296 500 28 ft dish, circular pol 2304 80 28 ft dish, circular pol -------------------------------------------- For our digital QSOs we used the Linrad+MAP65 combination on 144 MHz, and WSJT on 432 and 1296 MHz. We will post some additional details on the ARRL web site's "soapbox" forum for this contest, http://www.arrl.org/contests/soapbox/?con_id=146 73 to all, and see you on the Moon!
