Thanks to an electromagnetic lens above Earth surface W5UN was via Moon in Prague on 21.4.2005 extremely loud even on only 10el Yagi !

EME signal of W5UN was recorded by OK1TEH
on 21.4.2005 within Moonset after noon of local time.
Extraordinary amplification from usual cca 20 dB below
noise up to level, which you can listen here has started when Moon elevation was
aprox. 2deg and keep that level within 40 sec. Within that time was possible to
make not only WSJT, but as well CW and even SSB QSO !
Amplification of EME signals is possible observing
within low elevation of Moon because Earth ground together with Atmosphere and
probably Ionosphere can produce something like electromagnetic lense. It was
observed within EME operation many times as "groundgain", but situation on
21.April surpised by extreme intensity - relative gain probably exceeded 20 dB !
On OK1TEH side was used for reception 10 element Yagi of DK7ZB from OL6R workshop (cca 13,1dB), 15m of coaxial cable H1000 (cca -0,2dB) and standard transceiver FT847 without external preamplifier. Audiorecord was made with reception through SSB filter 2,1kHz !
