Hallo dear MMMonVHF friends,

again some news, so here infos again via the "NEWSLETTER of Make More Miles on VHF" again:


* Yesterday, Guy, DL8EBW, was able to spread out the new MS-DATABASE issue 2.35. All the past weeks we was collecting UPDATES and so now there is a good overview about activity on MS/EME. Please find a download area on the "MS-page" ( http://www.mmmonvhf.de/ms.php  ) at MMMonVHF or use the DATABASE-PROJECT page on http://www.dl8ebw.de/ Have fun with that new issue...

In june PA3CNX and PE1L will be qrv from PJ4 Bonaire. The call has not yet been issued but we asked for PJ4EME. Setup will be 4 x 9 element with full elevation, Gasfet preamp and 1kw. Rene did setup a new homepage with all details for the trip...

Jimmy, SV1BTR, did spread latest news abt SV9/DL5MAE on MMMonVHF - Wolfgang DL5MAE is in Gavdos island, the most south part of Europe. Locator is KM24BT and call used is SV9/DL5MAE. For cw EME things do not look that good as he has hills at his moonrise and a mountain at his moonset. However, he will give it a try at his moonrise tomorrow. I will talk to him again on Tuesday night as I am going to my EME qth today...

Special call sign TM1MAN will be aired from the following French onshore lighthouses in JO00SE/JO00RC on HF and VHF...

In order to commemorate the 6th June 1945 and the reporters from the BBC, radio club members F6KCZ will sign again the special event call TM5BBC from June 1 to June 6 on all HF and VHF bands...

Patrick I2/ON7ARQ will be QRV from Lombardia JN55 on 6 m / 2 m / HF SSB between June, 8 - 18. Rig: FT817/TS50. Mobile ant + ATU on HF.

GB1HYS will be operational from Guide's Camp in Scarisbrick, Lancashire, between Friday 25th May and Monday 28th May. The Southport District Scouts have taken over the camp for the weekend to celebrate the centenary together. GB1HYS will be qrv HF-144-432 ...

Finally after some disappointing (and expensive,) failures, the KC3RE Moonmobile(!) is improved and back on the air from FM18dp for 144 and 432 MHz EME work in CW. Is anyone interested to try skeds on the weekend of 8-9-10 June?

The Bolsover Amateur Radio Society will be operating as GB2PF on Saturday 11 and Sunday 12 August on HF-144-432 to commemorate the birthday of local man Peter Fidler, who was a famous surveyor in Canada in the 1790s...

Bill, NZ5N, will be staying at a hilltop location in Bratislava, Slovakia, grid JN88, from May 27 until July 6 and will have my HF, 6, and 2 meter rigs. Bill is particularly interested in making contacts on 6 and 2...

Arliss, W7XU, informed us that his trip to Anguilla is back on agenda, re-scheduled for June 21 thru July 2 Operators shall be Dick, K5AND and Bob, W4ZST to be QRV from Skiffles Villa. They will have IC7000 and FT897 amnd amplifier and 7 el Yagi. Grid locator FK88LF. Callsign: VP2RH ...

The Maidstone Amateur Radio Society G3WM will be operating a special event station GB2BVC celebrating 30 years of sailing at Bewl Sailing Club, Lamberhurst, Kent on Saturday, 26 May. The station will be on HF GB2BVC and VHF as GB2BSC from 0830 untill 1600 UTC...

Roger, G4NRG, plans to operate as GM4NRG/P from the Isle of Lismore Scotland, from approximately 3 to 15 June. The Isle of Lismore is in the Inner Hebrides, IOTA Island Reference EU-008, Maidenhead locator IO76GN Operation is hoped to be on 6m, hopefully taking advantage of sporadic E propagation, voice and JT6M....

The Norman Lockyer Observatory Amateur Radio Group will be participating at the 2nd South West Astronomy Fair. It will be operating on 1 August using call sign GB2NLO from 0900 to 1800 BST, 0800 TO 1700 UTC. They will be working SSB, CW, SSTV and PSK31 as appropriate on the 80, 40, 20, 6, 4 and 2 metre bands...

WB4WXE, Howard, is heading back to Antigua and Barbuda on June 9th through June 24th. He will be QRV as V26HS and will be putting an emphasis on 6 meters, but will also be QRV on 2, 10, 12, 15, 17, 20 or 40 meters. On 2 meters it will be 10 elements with 350 watts for island to island QSOs or any possible 2M E openings...

Rolf, DK2ZF will be active as CU2/DK2ZF from Sao Miguel (Locator: HM77cu) on Azores Island. Planned dates are 25-30 May. Rolf will operate mostly CW on 40-10 m and as well as on 2 m with abt. 50 watts and a 5-element. NO EME these trip...
