Thanks to all for the contacts during the European 1296 CW Contest! We worked 51 stations and all continents. I'd have to say almost everyone was SSB quality for us. We were only running our 120W so some of the smaller stations had a little more trouble with us.

Goran, AD6IW, will probably send a more detailed score update at some point.

Our next operation will be the weekend of 9 & 10 June, during the ARRL VHF contest. We will definately have 1296 running. 120 W & low NF preamp at the feed.
The dish is still 29.6 meters!

We will also try to have 144 running. 800W, and <1dB NF preamp. We've been experimenting with the feed and hope the 2 ele feed will be more effective than our 2 ele backfire feed into the subreflector was. We were only getting about 21dB gain. Theoretical gain could be almost 30dB.

We will mostly be working random on 1296.

Not sure what callsign will be for the weekend yet.

Ops will be: AD6IW, N9JIM, KK6MK, W6BY, N5XSA, possibly others.

Jim
